MBC’s ‘Playful Kiss‘ came to an end on the 21st of October. The drama went against some tough competition and suffered in the ratings department. Despite that, the show grew a small die-hard fan base and they were quite disappointed to see the show end so soon. However, that disappointment was somewhat turned around when there was news stating that Playful Kiss would continue airing via special episodes through video sharing website Youtube. The announcement also mentioned that it will have a different storyline than the TV version!
We have posted the 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st specials before, and now check out the second part of making film video (as I posted the first part of it yesterday) below!
Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Since Youtube doesn’t have strict restrictions, we were able to show a steamier love scene than on television. I believe that the couple will look more natural than on TV. Youtube is a place where netizens of the entire world can share and communicate. I hope ‘Playful Kiss’ can participate in the phenomenon and become an international icon.”
The making-of video for the drama “Playful Kiss” was revealed on Novemer 17th, featuring never-before-seen scenes and various NG cuts.
Since November 2nd, the Youtube channel for “Playful Kiss” has been uploading three special episodes every week, achieving impressive records in views and replies.
The special episodes for the drama will come to an end on the afternoon of the 18th with the final reveal of its second making video.
Actor Kim Hyun Joong commented, “I’m thankful for the fans that have been with us through this long time. I will greet you all once again with good performances and projects.”
Netizens left comments such as, “The set looks so lively,” “Kim Hyun Joong is even cool in the NG Cuts!,” and “I’ve fallen in love with how professional Kim Hyun Joong is.”
This will be the last video that they’ll release on the drama. But, wait for the Seung Jo’s Diary videos!

The broadcast of the awards ceremony through MBC was delayed instead of being live, after the broadcaster chose to show the men 1,500m freestyle swimming final in which national swimmer, Park Tae Hwan, was partaking, and won the silver medal. The rating for the swimming event was 34.8%, so it seems like they made a good decision.
Park also anchored the relay team in the last race of the swimming competition, as the Koreans won the silver medal in the 4×100 men’s individual medley in a dramatic finish.

2NE1 will be ending their promotions on the November 20th broadcast of MBC’s ’Music Core‘.
2NE1 made their comeback on September 12th via ‘Inkigayo‘, through which they kicked off their promotional activities for ‘To Anyone’. Over the past 2 months, the ladies have broken many records and nabbed numerous awards for their songs, “Go Away“, “Clap Your Hands“, and “Can’t Nobody“.
Although their last performance will be on ‘Music Core’, 2NE1 will still perform these beloved songs at the ‘2010 MAMA‘, held on November 28th at the Venetian Resort in Macau. The girls will also participate in the ‘2010 YG Family Concert‘ for December 4th and 5th.
We’re sad to see these promotions end, but at the same time, we can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeves for us next!

They added, “The fact that they placed 6th on a chart reserved for top artists in Japan means the same as them placing 1st to us.”
